This the third watch like this I have purchased, because the watchband is just what I need. I don't like metal bands. I don't like simple resin bands like on many Casio watches. My persperation destroys them within a year. My first Armitron's band is still good, but the watch battery died. It was a pre-covid purchase at a Target store. My second similar Armitron had a defect in the velcro on the band. I had it for a few years, but I finally lost it, because it fell off my hand unnoticed. I've worn the Armitron watches for many years; they're reasonably priced, look good, and last a good while. I got this one to replace a watch I'd had for almost two years by the same company; it was on sale for under 20 dollars. It has all the things you need at a glance: time, date, day of the week, down to the seconds. The light is great if you wear it at night or in dark areas. They're resistant to water and can stand being banged around a bit with no problem. I'd recommend any one of these watches to people who want something simple, reliable, and practical.

This is one great watch. Because of its low price, I thought it might be cheap or silly looking, but I figured at this price, I'd try it. It's neither. Great basic digital watch. Yeah it runs off a battery. Thing is I can change the battery myself so it's not an issue. Got this for when I'm working on mechanical things so I don't mess up my other watch and for those times I go walk without my mobile device but want to track my time walking. Is very light and the strap is nice being that it's infinitely adjustable. I do suggest giving the band a quick wash to remove the sizing and processing lubrication, helps with the skin feel. I collect watches and this is my first Armitron. I'm biased towards Casio but after reading the positive reviews and $14 price tag I decided to give it a try. The biggest negative I've read is the wrist strap isn't long enough, so lets get that out of the way first. I have a 7 inch wrist size and this fits perfectly and it's very comfortable. Judging from the remaining slack and distance from the Velcro and fold back loop, this appears to accommodate a maximum wrist size of 8 inches. I bought this watch as an inexpensive watch for inside and outside tasks that could get a watch wet or scuffed up. It fits the bill.
