I bought this as a late birthday gift for my mother. It's fairly small, but for the price, the quality is there. Even though the music box is just a neat side thing for us, it plays a classical tone that is nice to listen to. Also, please read the instructions; you have to pull open the little drawer and close it to start/end the music after you turn the tune. I do wish the finish of the wood looked a little more realistic since it's way too bright of a brown to fool anyone, yet it does the job either way.
