I'm surprised how much I like this dashcam. I wanted an inexpensive dashcam that also had an inside the cabin camera as I may be doing rideshare during the day and wanted that for safety reasons. Installing with the suction cup mount has been very sturdy. That was a concern of mine since I live in the Desert and the heat can often loosen these types of mounts. We purchased a new 2024 Acura RDX with he Advance package. We wanted a dash cam that was easy to install and setup, easy to operate and did not require any monthly subscription. This model (D30S) fits our needs perfectly. We wanted a dash cam that could record the front and inside of the car. The camera size is small and does not obstruct the driver or passenger view. Bought & used this camera for 4-5 months then it stopped working. Contacted the seller and they provided me with a new replacement camera without any problem, once I provided documentation to show it wasn't working. Its a great camera and I would purchase another COOAU camera in the future. Other than this one problem it has worked perfectly. Would highly recommend to others. I purchased this dash cam and the optional hard-wiring package - and was hoping that I could set it up myself. I am sure many people have but after reading through the directions I asked a mechanic to do the job. Without hardwiring, however, it is very simple to install. However, where I saw a problem was that my cigarette lighter port, that the dash cam would attach to for charging, was not direct wired to the battery (car is off, no battery connection) - I did not feel confident it would stay charged (but I am not a mechanic so I can't be sure that is the case). First off used this product for years it was great loved it, but now I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. I had this review up on their app on Apple Store but doesn’t seem to matter so I’m putting here as well. I upgraded from my previous dash cam, because a state trooper gave me a ticket for not having my seatbelt on, even though I did have it on. I'm so glad that I got this one. It's very crisp, and that's exactly what I needed to do. And the section cup stays in place. No matter the heat, even though it is over a hundred degrees here, every single day.

The device itself meets the expectations I had when purchasing. It is compact and light weight. The suction mount works great and makes it easy to place and remove for storage. The app is disappointing. In order to connect your phone to the camera it requires creating a WiFi network. Frequently on opening the app I find that the log in has expired, which is irritating. Also when trying to view or download videos on the app, the camera will disconnect from the phone, and will not connect again until the camera is shut off and turned on again. Overall, I think the device is well worth the money
