Easy to set up and has great video quality.

First of all, I liked how easy it was to install. There was plenty of cable for me so that I could discreetly hide the cord in my car and it could be out of the way. Visually, I liked the design and how it was slim with the screen that made it easy to see what exactly was being recorded. I also appreciated how easy it was to remove from my windshield when I needed to take it down. There was no hassle and no mess. The Coolcrazy dashcam hooks up easily and takes good videos. The menus are easy to access and adjust all the settings including the formatting of the SD card. Once I finally found the correct Google app it also links to my smartphone quickly and easily. My only complaint, hence the 4 stars, is the QR code (no URL shown) given in the instruction sheet sends you to three different Chinese websites none of which say Coolcrazy. After getting into a hit & run accident a few years ago, I knew I needed a dash cam. Two years after purchasing this dash cam, I yet again was involved in a hit & run accident. I was able to pull up the video quickly, and from the video, I found the vehicle in a nearby parking lot and confronted the driver. Driver tried denying that he hit me, however, when the police came, I showed them the video from the COOLCRAZY camera, and the officer had no further questions. Due to being able to clearly see the license plate of the offending vehicle in the video, the driver is now being held responsible

Fit great in my 2017 Pacifica van. The software works really well and it saves videos. Easy to use and quality of the picture is amazing. Easy to install and it comes with everything. Doesn’t take up much windshield space but records everything. Best value for a dash cam.

At first I was worried that it might not connect well with my car but boy was I waaaay off!First off, it came with all the instructions I would ever need to set it up. The app was pretty easy to find and download.Second the camera powered on very quickly and was easy to set up. I bought 2 of these on Prime day so I haven't used it long enough to give a complete and honest review. HOWEVER...the instructions that come with this unit are sadly lacking. The general unit set up is fairly straightforward and intuitive, instructions are "adequate".Where I encountered complete void in the manual is mounting to the windshield. The adhesive pad on the camera is one shot only to mount, included is one extra. I did watch videos before installation and no one covered the mounting in depth.
