Second Hand First Love is a really nice color. It’s a neutral that will go with most other colors. It’s not the vibrant pink displayed, but does lean more pink when seen in natural light (outside). Inside, it reads more pinky-beige. Dries fairly quickly. It takes more than 1 minute, but no more than 5 minutes which is drastically quicker than regular polish. The polish I received is fresh - not extremely thin and not thick. It’s the sweet spot in between that goes on very smoothly. Coverage is good. For a lighter color, two coats did the trick. Superb quality! Easy application, opaque color, long wearing and super fast drying! I need to order more from this "expressie" line. I'm just now discovering it.

I HATE painting my nails because I don't have the patience to let them properly dry. I can't remember last time I've painted my nails and didn't have a smudge, dent, or obvious imprint. However, I LOVE painted nails so I usually just pay for gel at the salon. Well I am happy to say I finally found a nail polish that doesnt take 2 years to dry LOL. With two coats you get a very rich hue and it dries in about 5-10 minutes. If you do one coat it dries in about 3-5 minutes but the color and texture won't be as smooth. The most important thing to know is that the product photo is not correct for the Take a Breakdance color.In general, I like this Expressie formulation of polish for a quick polish job. It doesn't go on as smoothly as a slower-drying polish would and forces you to move very quickly to avoid it drying as your apply.This particular bottle came and the brush-handle is sortof broken, so I don't know if it was a bad seller or what, but it is uncharacteristic for essie. It makes it challenging to apply because the brush head wiggles. I've never had that happen before, so I don't think it's a common

I love Essie's stuff and the quick dry is great. Never had any complaints! Should note: Express To Impress is displayed as a mint/seafoam green, but it is actually a matcha color. (Other reviews show this difference, which is why I got this color, as I prefer the matcha color- it matches my keyboard!)
