My first project with it was to cut out rotted, infested parts of an expensive home entry door jamb that hadn't been properly sealed against moisture. I only purchased this to use as a detailed sander. It may be great for all the other options it offers. For my purpose it did not do what I expected. First the attachment has to line up and be secured by these tiny metal pieces. It really was a pain to line up then put the washer over to tighten it down with no visibility if it’s still in place how it needed to be. Second I used it to sand one side of the inset of a drawer (pictured). It worked beautifully for about 2 minutes before the sand paper slipped off.
