This is a really beautiful necklace. The pearl looks clear and shiny, and the sterling silver is a great compliment to it. The necklace looks great with many different outfits, but especially special occasions. The packaging is gift worthy, and your recipient will not be disappointed.
The Tahitian black pearl has a very unique shiny black glow. The color is more like graphite black, instead of solid black. It looks low-key elegant and simple.Since there is a cap attached on the pearl, it's not able to see how round the whole pearl is, but it does not affect the overall aesthetics for the piece. I did some research, it is stated that less that 10% of Tahitian black pearl are actually perfectly round, most of them are with varied shapes, but I find the beauty in it. Based on my experience, this black pearl looks like a fake one. It feels like plastic made with coating. I can see the dyed rings around the bottom under flashlight. Genuine black pearls, such as Tahitian pearls, exhibit vivid secondary colours or "overtones" like peacock green, blue, purple, or aubergine that subtly shift when you rotate the pearl under the light. Fake pearls typically have a single, flat body colour with no complex, shifting overtones. I made a video and you make your own judgement.
