Technically, this sausage cooker was made to cook Johnsonville products, but can be used for other brands, sometimes with a little improvising.My first use was to cook kielbasa sausage. Yes, kielbasa is a bit larger than Johnsonville brats, but it worked!! My old method of cooking kielbasa was a frying pan. As with most brat type sausages, kielbasa is curved. When cooking them in a frying pan, it's easy enough to brown the sides, but browning the inside and outside of the curve is nearly impossible. I have had this sausage grill for several month and have used it many times. This thing works better than advertized I have the 3 different sausage grill inserts small link , sausage patties , and full size sausage links. This grill automatically cooks each of these sausages to the perfect doneness. It is easy to clean up after each use It is built of quality materialsand is compact enough to store easily . The price was defanatily worth it If you cook sausages on a regular basis than you should own this grill

Is it a clean, cooks one package of links and fits other brands of sausage patties. Brats taste amazing. Only downfall i have run into is no separate interchangeable griddle areas for the brat patty which my elderly relatives preferred due to not having a casing on them and they are easier to chew.Easy to clean with hot soapy water. I have not tried them in my dishwasher yet. It’s like getting three cookers in one for the price…..fabulous deal and value for the money.

Works excellent and the cook time is anywhere from 8 to 12 minutes depending on what u cook and it also cooks up to 8 patties, 14 links, and 5 bratwursts perfectly so very good storage capacity and excellent heat level. And another good thing is that both the top and bottom plates are removable.

I like the concept. Light weight trays, form fitted, drips into drip tray cleanly, non-stick, and easy clean up. Simple to install and remove trays with a click. Pop in the product, close the lid, press the button, and you're on your way. First run opinion having cooked links (off brand) and then Johnsonville's brats immediately after with approximately 10 minute cooling period between cooking sessions. Far better than pan cooked. After seeing the cooked sausages from the grill on a few Youtube videos, I was thinking they might not get cooked completely (to my liking). I even contacted Johnsonville and asked them about the difference between the new 3-in-1 model and the model with the Temperature Probe. I was told that the new model has an "internal" probe, and that the results would be the same. I was preparing myself to be disappointed. This was absolutely worth the price it cost even though I hesitated at first because I thought it was too expensive. The brats come out totally cooked and browned all over, not just on the sides, but the inside/outside curves, as well. There is not messy, greasy splatters to clean up like when you cook them on the stove. They are done to perfection in roughly 15 minutes or so and fully cooked. We haven't used the sausage patties or links plates yet, but we plan to soon. Another plus is that the plates and the grease catcher can be washed in the dishwasher. You will love using this cooker!
