These work great when you have a situation where you have limited space . Used them to connect the cable coming from the computer to the monitor. Not only helped it with the limited space, it also lets the cable hang down naturally.

Simple and EffectiveJonathan Abrams
I have a laptop with an HDMI output that I placed on a stand. The HDMI cable I use to connect my second monitor to the laptop is straight. This adapter allows me to have the cable drop down from my laptop and then bend more easily toward the monitor. There is a portion of the contact of the cable that is visible between the female port of the adapter and the housing of the cable plugged into the female port. It would be nice if this gap did not exist.
