This is an awesome kid camera! It has been very easy for my 4 1/2 year old to operate since receiving it for Christmas. Just last night he discovered filters! He loves printing the photos and I love that it is very easy to swap a roll of paper out and a ton of pictures can be printed per roll.I am shocked at picture quality - not because I have compared a lot (I have not) but because of what is available in modern times for kids.Seems pretty sturdy and my kiddo is learning to be responsible with his own devices! Total win.

I ordered this camera and it would not charger right out of the box. When I tried to charge it using the provided cable, the screen just flashed on and off repeatedly and never actually charged or booted up.I ordered a replacement via Amazon. Guess what? Bought this for our 6 year old daughter as a Christmas gift and she absolutely loves it. We did a TON of research on cameras of this type to figure out which was best. The menu/settings is pretty easy for an adult to navigate and was easy for my daughter once I showed her. I would teach her how to do/change one thing at a time so it wasn't a lot of info at once. One thing I love is that the picture you take doesn't have to print automatically. You can turn the Print setting off and then go into your photo library and print only the ones you want. I am writing to edit my former review, which stated that we initially received a defective camera. The first camera would not turn on, and the battery would not charge. We returned that camera to Amazon with no problem, and we bought another one, with the hope that the first problem was just a fluke. We are pleased to say that the second camera does work, it charges, and it prints, so we are pleased with it. The company's customer service has been very responsible, and they have gone out of their way to ensure that we are satisfied customers. I recommend this camera for young photographers.
