I can NOT find the key to the top, but I’m happy with the quality of the box. The watch holders are a little flimsy, but maybe that’s how they’re supposed to be? There’s a LOT of room and flexible storage in the box. I’m sure I could write more if I could access the top. It looks incredibly nice and would make for a decent first official jewelry box! The drawers do come open easily so if you’re moving around with it or try to pick it up I’d be incredibly careful

Bought as a gift as well one for myself. Wasn’t sure what to expect as far as quality, but I’m happy to report it is not only beautifully made, but it is a beautiful piece. I bought the six drawer, it is the perfect size…keeping all my jewelry organized and it fits perfectly into my small space. The added handle on top makes for ease of portability.
