Great scale, easy to figure out

I have a regular kitchen scale, and so I was able to compare measurements to a point. The kitchen scale doesn’t go as low as this one (it doesn’t go under one gram for instance) but as far as I can tell, it’s at least as accurate as the kitchen scale.I make soap, and now I won’t have to do “best guess” for fragrance oil and other things that I couldn’t really measure before. I’ll also be able to make smaller batches if I want to experiment.It’s a little more utilitarian than some scales, it’s not very sleek looking. I wanted a second gram scale, since I don't have a known weight, it's my weight to have two devices to measure the weight to ensure it's accurate. This scale performs better than my other grams scale. It didn't fluctuate by 0.1g as much as the other gram scale. It only uses two AAA batteries compared to the other scale that needs three AAA batteries. I measured two AA batteries' weight of 12.9 grams. Both scales measured that weight. My other scale would fluctuate from 12.9 grams to 13.1 grams. I prefer this scale.

I didn't want to buy a very big or expensive kitchen scale because I knew it was something I would hardly ever use. At first this seemed like a great pick but it hasn't worked great for me. It was hard to figure it out in the first place and if I pushed the wrong button, the screen would freeze and I couldn't get anything to work without taking out the batteries and putting them back in. Also, I don't think this always measures the correct amount. The last time I used it, it seemed to be giving me the wrong numbers so I put a 16 oz box of pasta on the scale to test it. It told me it was 45 oz!
