What can I say? I got on the smash burger band wagon a couple years ago and my family loves them. I could only find two small cast iron griddles that fit my grill side by side. That works fine, but I could only do 6 patties at a time then I found this one and it fits my entire grill surface! I already did 10 patties and it still had more room. Clean up is a breeze too! I probably need to turn the handles around so I can close the lid all of the way, and I had to remove the warming rack from the lid, but that was no big deal. This cast iron griddle is my new favorite thing for the summer.By replacing one of the grill grates with this cast iron griddle, the flexibility and ease of use on my 25 year old Weber just increased dramatically.You can see my normal use case in the photo. Roasting potatoes and onions while searing a couple steaks to perfection. No flare ups. No burnt steak or handling clumsy pans on the grill.So easy and so good.

I like this, but there are a few things you need to know. You absolutely cannot use any metal spatula or knife on this surface or you will scratch the ceramic. Get rubber utensils. This is a must.The thing is heavy, not break your back heavy, but 20 pounds, so install the handles first.The one downside is the small grease catcher fills up quickly and if it over flows, it’s going into your fire or down the front of your barbecue. If the surface is hot you will need to be creative on how to remove the grease.Clean the surface with mild soap and a soft sponge and do not use anything abrasive like

I have a smoker and a gas grill but without adding more clutter on my deck. This is a great add on to my Webber grill. Cooks everything GREAT. I checked with a heat gun to see how it was heating. Very evenly. It all depends on the setting of the gas’s grill . Mine has 3 burners and the griddle was hotter in the center and right sections where the gas grill had bigger burners. I tested it for the first time with bacon and eggs. Worked great. Just like when I was a fast order cook in high school. PLEASED!!

Fits my Genesis 330 perfectly with handles reversed. Doing breakfast is fun now with one surface to work with. Cleans easy with abs scrapper, water, paper towels and non-scratch scrubber pad. We like this upgraded ceramic coated griddle - would buy another in a heartbeat, but this one should last. Well built, removes easy for regular grill use and stores inside grill. Quite happy with this purchase.

This review is for the carbon steel version (not stainless steel, not cast iron). The moment I opened the box my instinct was to return it. It had some odd industrial grey coating that was very coarse and bumpy - similar but much worse than a lodge cast iron skillet. The included seasoning instructions noted they were for cast iron and stainless steel; there were no instructions for the carbon steel version. The instructions for the cast iron/stainless basically said to heat up a half an inch(!) of oil to the smoking point, then "carefully discard". What? First off there are holes in the gridd
