Rockwell RW8942 Sonicrafter Oscillating Multitool Accessory Adaptor to fit other Oscillating Accessories

This Rockwell Sonicrafter Adapter works very well with my original 13 year old Rockwell Sonicrafter Tool (Model#: RK5102K). This adapter is an OEM Rockwell part, and it comes in original Rockwell packaging.My Rockwell Sonicrafter still works and looks like new, and I use it very often. It is a great tool, however, the OEM Rockwell Sonicrafter blades are getting expensive and harder to find. This worked with my Rockwell Soncicsre so I can use with newer blades. The bumps are round domes instead of cylinders. I was skeptical it would hold the blade well, but it worked well with using 5 minutes straight. I did make sure to tighten the bolt well.

This adapter brings my old Sonicrafter up to date, so that I can use attachments which utilize the more common and more widely available style. It fits over the hexagonal nut on my RK5102K, and easily adapts new accessories. The only thing is to make sure that the center screw is tightened down. It should be checked every few minutes of use, to be sure that it remains tight. If not, there's a chance that the little nubs on the adapter can become worn down too quickly.

I have an older Rockwell Sonicrafter and this adapter makes it possible to use the newer blades and accessories. Fits perfectly and holds blades securely.

I have one of the original SoniCrafter's and have had a horrible time finding blades that fit since they changed the design. So I have just been cranking down on the bolt to hold blades in place.But this adapter with just the tiny nubs to hold the blade has made a big difference. My son just bought an older house and I needed to cut off a cabinet. My blades would not stay tight until I used this.I recommend highly if you have an older SoniCrafter and new blades.

Have purchased several different kinds of adapters for a couple of different oscillators and this is the only one that actually works and fits perfectly to use with universal blades.
