By the time she was able to use it, the return window had closed. The sewing machine does not work. The needle continuously hits the plastic underneath where the bobbin is supposed to sit and will not connect with the bobbin string at all. We had issues with the machine working at first but reading the instructions is really important - even if you're a novice sewer.1. Make sure the OFF/L/H toggle is in the OFF position before you plug the sewing machine in. The L/H position is if you're sewing without the pedal. For example, if the toggle is in the L position, and you plug the machine it, it will start sewing even though you are no where near the pedal. 2. Read the threading instructions.
