    Perfect little setup for basic household mending

    I bought this mainly to hem a pair of work pants and touch up some kitchen curtains. The extension table gives you a nice flat surface so light fabrics don't drag down while stitching. When I first took it out, one of the foldable legs under the extension table was a little tight to click into place, but once set up, it was totally stable. It runs quiet on low speed, and having the thread cutter right on the body saves me from constantly looking for scissors. Very practical machine for small apartment spaces.

    Surprisingly versatile for a compact sewing machine

    I needed something simple for quick clothes repairs without hauling out a heavy full-size machine. The 12 stitch options cover everything I need for regular mending and fixing loose buttons. When I first threaded it, the foot pedal wire was coiled pretty tightly from the packaging, so I had to straighten it out so it rested flat on the floor. The built-in sewing light helps a lot when working in the evening. It handled two layers of cotton fabric smoothly without jamming.

    Convenient, lightweight, and easy to store

    I’m fairly new to DIY crafting, so I wanted something easy to operate. The stitch selection dial is very clear, and the reverse switch works well to secure seam ends. I really like that it can run on AA batteries or the wall adapter—I actually took it outside to the patio desk last weekend to work on a dog bandana. The extension table snaps off easily if you need to sew smaller sleeves or pant cuffs. Very solid value for basic home projects.

    Great beginner set with all the accessories included

    Got this as a starter machine for my teenage daughter who wanted to make scrunchies and simple tote bags. The kit comes with a lot of colorful thread spools right out of the box, which was a fun touch. She uses the foot pedal on the low speed setting so she can keep both hands on the fabric while learning. The little built-in drawer is handy for holding extra bobbins. It’s lightweight, easy to store on a closet shelf, and doesn't take up much room at all.
