Got this because I needed to sew a layer of fabric into my dog's diapers and did not want to do that by hand. It's been a long time since I've sewn, let alone had a sewing machine, so I thought this would be a great one to start with and it is! It's easy to set up, super lightweight, easy to thread and use. This machine comes ready to use with everything threaded for you. The extra thread, needles, and other items needed for sewing are a nice touch and a good gift for a beginner seamstress. After threading a new color in the machine, it seems to be getting stuck at the bottom. We've had other machines and I am pretty knowledgable about sewing. I've double checked everything and it seems to all have been done properly. I'm not sure if a part got moved, but if it did, it didn't take much effort to ruin the machine. The instructions were easy enough to follow and it worked well for simple projects. It is lightweight and does not take up much space.
