I got this for my 5-year-old, and he absolutely loves it! It’s very easy for him to use and keeps him interested in exploring outside. I got this for my little nephew, and he absolutely loved it! We took it with us to the river, and he had so much fun using the camera to explore around the rocks, plants, and water. He kept wanting to see what he could find next.It was easy for him to use, and it made our trip to the river even more enjoyable. It's functional as a camera and easy to use for a child. There are many options in the menu and the picture quality is surprisingly good. The end of borescope comes with a light that has adjustable brightness.If your looking for something to keep your child busy on long summer days - this would be one tool to help.And one more reason for a child to go outside to explore. It definitely makes it so much more interesting to be outside when you have one of these cameras to zoom into all the small things.
My grands have been using this to look in ears, mouths, noses, and spots on skin. We haven’t even ventured outside to find bugs yet. This is most definitely worth the money. A word of caution, do not keep the charger cord plugged in for very long. The cord became extremely hot to touch. We tossed the cord that came with it in the trash and used another charging cord we had already.
I would give negative stars if I could. It stopped working the first day we brought it out.
