Internal microphone didn’t work
Quality of videos/photos not the best. Bought for my child for Christmas and with the first use the microphone didn’t work. Vtech customer service was very unhelpful (saying “have you tried turning it off and then back on?” 🙄) the camera itself seems fairly durable but the stand for it is fairly flimsy.

DJI action camera would be a better investment
The picture quality is roughly the same as the TV we had at my mom's house in 1982, the microphone that's built in requires you to be within about 4 in for it to pick up any sound it's so crazy it sucks so bad, there's no zoom function at all and the native storage is going to record about 8 minutes of video total. In conclusion if you're looking for some cheap junk for your kid to throw around and the only interest you have in the video camera is that the word video is in the title then this might be the product for you. If you're looking for any level of quality you should probably navigate

Scam
Do not buy this. Ordered a new one twice and both times it arrived with the ss card slot open. Did not have the stand in it at all. And clearly the boxes had been opened already probably sent back for the same reason. I did a return the first time and the unit came the same way twice!!!

No Pause Function.
It is an Ok camera for a kid, but you can not pause in thr middle of recording. Why would a camera designed for kids to create and edit cool pictures and videos not do something so basic.
