Best Quality To Expect And Picture Fits
I'm giving it five stars because it is better than the other one I tried, but none really give true HD, and the best you should expect for all such converters, to my knowledge. The picture doesn't suffer as much in translation though, even though both are very good, and I'm mostly interested in the picture. I also had a problem with the picture not fitting my display (about an inch dark borders on sides), then changed the mode on my monitor from PC to AV. (It doesn't have a 3.5 mm jack and the switch for resolution is S-video/ RCA output.)Added Note: I bought a second which came in a plastic b

Okay,but
It works as advertised,but lacks any picture control. You need ability to zoom and crop the picture when attaching to an SD television and it doesn't do that. The svhs picture is very clear,though.

The "experts" were WRONG!
Arrived promptly & performs well. AV "experts" at a major electronic & appliance chain said it was not possible to connect an AppleTV to my non-HDI tv...they are WRONG! This works beautifully!

Does not work
Does not work. Works for 10 seconds, cuts out for 3 minutes and the cycle starts all over.Package wasn't sealed, manual is cheap with typos, no troubleshooting, no company info,no contact info. The connections are obvious.
