I ordered this to provide 24 VDC to a din rail-mounted ethernet switch. When I originally ordered it, I saw that it had the power brick and the standard 5.5x2.1mm barrel plug. I was prepared to cut the wire and land the wires directly on the switch, as that's what I ordered it for. I should have paid more attention to the listing. When it arrived, it came with the wiring 'harness' for the female end of the barrel plug. I needed a 24V/1Amp power supply, so I went hunting for one. The main difficulty I was worried about was getting the power supply with the correct plug. I measured the plug and compared it with the measurements on the sales site, and they were the same. So, I ordered it, and when it came I plugged it into the lamp for which it was intended. I bought a set of Govee Glide Wall Lights back in Jan 2026, and the power supply started making a high pitched noise sometime in March 2026. I bought this power supply to replace the original one, and it fits perfectly. Didn't need the adapter it came with, but nice to have. Works as expected, no problems using it.

Works great but gets very hot so I unplug it after using it to be safe

I used this to replace bad power supplies on my govee spotlights and pathway lights. I was able to cut the end connector off of this power supply and splice it to the wires going to the old power supply on the govee lights. This had the exact input/output specs for H7065 and H7055 power supplies that I replaced.
