I plan to decrease the frame rate to decrease the file sizes, because who needs 60 fps anyway?Installation required some common sense intuition. I bought it two months ago but only got around to installing recently since I wanted to do the hardware install and wasn't immediately up for pulling apart the car's interior. This is my first ever dash cam and first impressions are pretty good. Install was easy enough, I was able to get it working pretty quickly. I plugged it into an existing USB port on my car and routed the wires around to the plug. The back camera was also easy enough to install. I tucked the extra wiring into a panel where nobody knows it is there.I pulled the card to look at the video and it looks pretty clear both day and night. This one has a USB C port. All the other ones seem to have a mini USB port that is outdated from what I saw. I gave it four stars because I have the setting for it to shut off after 5 minutes when the car is idle but if you do that it won't turn on once you leave. I need something that detects when the car is in motion so that I won't have to turn it on manually.
