I tested the camera underwater by pointing it at my fish, and it worked great. this was just at the surface of the water, but the pictures looked nice! out of the water I feel it didn't work great in bright light, but with some tweaking of settings I think it could improve. I set it to the highest image quality, which I know takes up more space, but I like good pictures. it came with everything you need to start using it right away, I love that it is rechargeable, the last time I bought a camera it needed batteries. this is a great little camerar for my hubby to bring on rafting trips he goes

I like the camera is waterproof. It also has video.We go on vacation to the ocean.The outer color is a pretty blue with silver. It is light weight.I found it is more than a basic camera and is also goodfor a moderate person learning how to take photos. Beginnerswill need practice unless you just point and shoot and don’t playwith all the settings.I can have the screen forward or facing me dependingon what I want. If I am doing a family photo I set it on a tripodand set the timer to go off automatically. That is in the settingsand there are different timers I can set.It is pretty straight forwa
