    Perfect little camera

    Hello, I don't usually write reviews but I felt this product deserved a review. Installed in 2021 Subaru Outback because I added a rack which blocked the OEM camera.I installed on the spoiler under the 3rd brake light. I did have to drill a hole and dremel tool cut some plastic under the cover to allow the camera stem fit.The sweet thing is that I used the OEM plug, and I did not have to run the wire all the way to the front. Yellow = video, Red = +V, Black = -V, and shield. I soldered and heat shrunk all the connections. I used a peice of wire with an RCA jack so I didn't have to cut the vide

    Not perfect, but gets the most important stuff right

    I installed it into a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek. Got this one because I liked the idea of pressing a button to configure the camera output instead of cutting wires like most or not having an option and potentially getting the wrong thing. From what I can tell, the button doesn't change the mirror image like the description says (though I could be wrong, it's not super easy to play with when you have to press a button in the back and then go put it in reverse to check what happened, rinse and repeat, once I got something working I pretty much just called it good and moved on. Would have preferred t

    Not waterproof

    I bought more than 10 of these cameras they get moisture inside the switch buttons housing and it starts automatically switch from mirror to reverse to blue screen it's annoying and costing me Time and money switching out cameras...great picture but needs better wires and a sealed camera switch.

    Picture quality isn't 4k or an anything, but it does the job.

    I have an older vehicle/aftermarket radio that only supports AHD. This did the job quite nicely. I had to drill a hole into the trunk lid to secure it, but I suppose that was unavoidable. Frankly, it's more secure this way and the hole is invisible at this point. Time will tell how long this holds up. The downside is, due to my setup, if this craps out, I'll have locked in to the same model/brand since I'm not going to re-snake another one from the front head unit to the back again.
