My F150 is a base model with no BU camera but a Supercab 4x4 so B/U camera is important. Big benefit over factory camera is you can turn it on when not in reverse. I use it to keep an eye on my trailer connection or the cars on my trailer, which is excellent. This thing has been great. Easy to mount, the bluetooth connection is instantaneous and never fails. I have had it a year and have never had to recharge it (I live in CA so the solar works great). It has been sturdy, and provides good visibility. The camera was very easy to install and gives a good useful picture. A little wider angle of view would have been useful at times. We already have a backup camera that came with the car, so we mounted the camera on the front license plate to help with parking. When there is sunlight most of the day, the battery in the camera has remained fully charged by the solar panel for an indefinite length of time. Simple Installation is a Good ThingI installed the unit on the top of the front grill of my 2026 Grand Highlander.I live in an area of heavy winter snow, which requires sand and salt on the roads for safe travel.On bad weather days, I slide a cover over this camera to protect it from the sand and salt.This cover was 3D printed and has a slotted center section and 2 end caps and has drain holes in the bottom.To install the cover, I slide on the center section and push on the 2 end caps.I did have this camera covered for 2 weeks due to bad weather.Because there was no solar charging during this

Excellent product that with easy wireless installation. I liked the first one that I bought so much that I bought a second one for my other car.The second one worked well at first, but then the camera and the monitor would not connect. I got in touch with customer service and they were very responsive, sending out a replacement unit immediately.However, the replacement unit arrived with a camera and monitor that would not connect at all (bad QC). When I notified Auto-Vox of the problem, they sent yet another replacement immediately. What really impressed me was not only the fast response time

I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the warranty support. The camera stopped working after only five months and would no longer connect, even after I followed every recommended troubleshooting step. When I contacted the seller and clearly explained everything I had already tried, their response was simply to repeat the same instructions.Communication was also slow because the seller is located in China. Despite the product still being under warranty, they sent only the camera portion instead of replacing the complete system. I eventually had to ask Amazon to make an exception

This item performs exactly as advertised, or maybe even better, if that's possible. The installation was as simple as can be and took about 5 -10 minutes. The image quality is truly amazing. I have a very old car, 2006, that I love and drive every day, and this was a super addition. I got this for Christmas, installed it that day, and I still haven't had to charge the camera - the sun takes care of that hassle for me. I highly recommend this product!
