AUTO-VOX RV Backup Camera Wireless System: Left/Right Side Cameras

I just put it in the RV, and the quality of the parts was excellent. Having the rear camera ready to install to the manufacturer installed Furrion system was a huge plus. Mounting of all the cameras was straight forward and easy. The 3 different power cables provided was great as it enabled me to select a method to power the cam from a much shorter distance than my previous cam. I really like the low profile screen and I can now mount it on top of the dash without interfering with my line of sight. And the stubby antenna's are a smart choice so they don't stick up in the line of sight either.

I originally purchased another brand and had a fair amount of trouble getting it to function. Got their tech support but it took 4-5 days to actually get them to agree it was a faulty unit. Anyway got a refund and purchased this unit. Much easier to get operating.Install was a bit of a challenge as the monitor only works with a cigarette lighter plug. This is a great camera system overall. It keeps a strong signal with the monitor while traveling, and the camera resolution is good. Installation of the rear camera was easy since my trailer came with a pre-wired plug, and the system does its job well for the most part. That said, I ran into a few issues:1. Rear camera view: You can see either the back of your trailer (for backing up) or how far cars are behind you, but not both at once. You have to pick one view or the other.2. Installed on a 40' older class a. Its great, have taken it on 2 trips no issues.PROS: The coverage is great and had no drops in video. Installation was easy and customer service was great. Extremely disappointed. Side cameras work great but Rear camera doesn’t work at all. Tried going through the companies email support and never received a response. Then went through the company’s website chat support and felt like it was all bots except for one time when I felt like I was talking to a live person. This camera works great for me. I had a Furrion S on my last trailer and after trading it in on my new one a few weeks ago, I decided to give this one a try. I am very pleased with the visibility, ease of installation, and value for the money. I recommend the Auto-Vox as well as the side cameras which come separately. Only issue I found is this does not come with a windshield mount. It worked well for me but, may be an issue for others.

Upxate. I have now had these cameras installed for about 3 months and the backup camera is intermittent turning on and off, causing images to be blurred. I've tried repairing and repositioned the camera , but on my 45 foot trailer, it seems to be too far of a signal for these cameras , even though the product description shows over a hundred feet. I purchased the AUTO-VOX system for my new travel trailer, which claimed to be pre-wired/prepped for a Furrion backup camera, and compatibility for a 'plug and play' connection seemed possible with the AUTO-VOX system. As it turned out, the prep was just a wire without the termination socket, and so I didn't get to use this feature of the AUTO-VOX system. That said, hooking up to the wires with a few wire nuts worked fine and I was able to get the rear view camera hooked up and working without issues.
