Always nice to purchase a product that right out of the box is complete, easy to install, directions straight forward and it works, 1st time! Met all my expectations. Worked very well on a 5 day trip, 27' travel trailer and full size F150 crew, great signal all the way without hiccups. Battery stayed strong, especially liked the extra wide angle and resolution was good. Could even make out motorcycles pretty well. Night time picture great. This unit is a great value for the money! I placed the camera on the rear bumper of the our trailer and the monitor on velcro strips on the dashboard of the pickup, which is about 45' apart. The monitor shows a typical wi-fi power indicator which always indicated a max of 5 bars. The rearview image was always crisp, clear (except when the camera was dirty) and bright. The monitor does allow you to toggle backup guidelines and though I haven't had the chance to really test them they do appear to match the 8' width of the trailer and that width is adjustable. No drilling, no wires, no headache — the magnets are strong and it snapped right into place in seconds. The picture is clear and sharp, even in low light, and the wide angle gives you a great view with no real blind spots. We use ours for docking our boat in a tight slip, and it's made a world of difference lining things up. The solar charging is a nice bonus too — one less thing to worry about. I bought this camera & monitor for the sole purpose of helping me to line up my Ford F-350 to my 45' gooseneck trailer. The pickup's built-in camera that looks out to the bed does not give a closeup enough view of the hitch ball, and I would have to repeatedly get out of the truck to go see if I was lined up to the ball or not. Easy to install and works exactly as advertised. The magnet on the exterior camera is very strong and holds securely, and the picture is clear. Very pleased with the quality and performance of this backup camera.

I found this backup camera to be well designed and well made. The camera is sturdy and attaches to your vehicle with a heavy duty magnet that keeps it secure. The rechargeable battery can be charged by a C-type charging cable with the included 5V-2A charger, and the charge can be maintained by the good sized solar panel on top of the camera body. When I did my initial test the 7 inch monitor was receiving a strong signal from at least 65 feet away, and the picture was excellent. Reception could be a bit stronger even with the extended wire letting me position the antenna closer. The monitor still cuts in and out occasionally and there's noticeable lag at times. Setup was quick with the magnetic mount and no wiring hassle. Picture quality is decent when it holds steady. For the price and convenience it's still worth having around. I hope they make a more premium quality version soon.
