Great backup camera! What an amazing upgrade from the OEM (2011 Lexus) camera in my car, the image quality and resolution is incredible. Mounting wise it was not a direct replacement to the OEM camera but I used the included license plate bracket to mount it, the mounting plate hides nicely behind the plate leaving just the camera showing. The housing is metal vs cheaper plastic ones and appears to be very durable. The wiring was simple with adequate cable to reach the dashboard. The connectors are standard RCA video which worked perfectly to connect to my aftermarket stereo head unit.

Nice camera. Came with every thing to install on a truck. Plugged right in to my Kenwood Headunit. Worked with no issues. Has a good picture.Install only a week ago, I will update if there are issues later.

This camera has worked really well for me. I originally purchased it for the back. I then added a front camera (different than this one) and a video switcher. I bungled the wiring and the video switcher and the front camera blew up. This camera kept working fine (I bungled the front and back consistently). For its robustness alone I give it 5 stars.However, it's a pretty good camera too. It comes with the standard cables and mounting. I purchased this backup camera to install on my 2002 BMW 330ci cabrio (E46), to pair with a Dynavin 9 head unit.The E46 has a removable plastic "eyebrow" trim piece over the license plate, housing the license plate lights and electric trunk release. After removing the trim piece, I was able to drill a strategic angled hole in the underside of the trim, in the small "valley" that one of the four torx mounting screws runs through - this allowed me to route the 4 pin wire "lead" on the camera in to the underside of the trunk lid, alongside the existing routing hole for the factory harness carryin

Got to say I’m impressed with this camera. It seems well built. I used the license plate bracket and it made for a solid install. It was a bit difficult to get those tiny screws into the back of the camera but worth it. The tailgate of my F150 clears it by a few inches. I have an extended cab short bed truck and had several feet of wire left. Don’t think you would have enough wire if you drive a crew cab with a long bed. I bought the Perelman camera because I though that it would be easy to install. It took hours.
