I recently used this tool in a DIY flooring renovation project and it performed flawlessly. It allowed me to make precise and intricate cuts to vinyl planks so that I could fit the vinyl planks around door jams. The tool is well made and easy to use. Excellent tool for the novice. Lightweight and easy to use. Gets the job done. Comes with multiple tools for cutting and sanding.
There was no instruction manual accompanying it, and the one shown on YouTube was more advanced, with a locking mechanism and an extra handle. I figured out how to put this one together anyway, but the sanding part fell off within about 15 seconds. It felt like bait and switch, sticking me with an inferior model. However, I put it together again and tightened the H… out of that hex nut. It has held together since then.
This tool has value for its money. Ive worked several house projects from tile to drywall with this tool. Red is a bit flashy for me, but other than that very easy to use. Comes with tool to replace and unlock / lock blades, grip is dependable, noise is medium, dust depends on what material youre cutting, did not view cord too much as an issue since I have a 100 ft extension cord. Power is slightly above average. Can cut 2x4 (tested) through in about 2-5 mins with the right blade. I also used it to "cut" kitchen floor tile and is very accurate when it comes to the precise 90 angles you need fo

DO NOT BUY!!!!This arrived in seemingly good condition until the unit was actually plugged in to work. The attachments did not attach well despite being tightened with the enclosed wrench. The tool started smoking and the saw blade flew off the tool in pieces- COMPLETELY DANGEROUS!!! I’m very lucky I was not hurt. To add to the disappointment of this product, I kindly reached out to their support department and after allowing ample time to reply and assist me, I never got a response. Very disappointing on multiple levels.
This tool really has power. Well-built and performance in sanding a 48-inch cedar gate was amazing.
