We just had our bathroom remodeled with a walk in shower and it is very modern and black and white. This little waste basket is the perfect size and I love the touchless technology. It is more sanitary and perfect for a bathroom. There were two of them and the second would be perfect bedside or even in the den. Make sure to have 2 AA batteries for each basket. Getting the battery compartment open was a bit tricky. The little trash cans are "fun". My husband was fascinated. They are well made, sturdy, and easy to clean. Not one but two!

I like these trash cans in theory but there are a couple things that aren't so great. I purchased four but only kept two.First, the sensors are extremely sensitive. When I installed the batteries, the lids would randomly open and close even if there was no movement or noise in the room. Even when placed in a smaller room with the lights off, like our guest bathroom, the lid will open when we walk past the doorway, like it's sensing our shadow.Second, it's pretty small for a 2 gallon trash can.
