The liner securely holds the garbage bag within the can. In addition, the foot pedal does not stick out far enough for you accidentally kick, it which I also appreciate. it’s a beautiful can if a garbage can can be beautiful. The lid is functional. It’s easy to use and stable - highly recommend for the price.
