    I have 2 large dogs that LOVE to get into the trash. I've tried several cans with different features and this is the ONLY one that keeps the dogs out, while still being easy to use. First, because the lid closes into the top and does not have a lip that overhangs, they cannot use their noses to lift up the lid. Second, it's taller than all of the other cans I tried. The capacity is perfect and it has an inner plastic can that slides out, not just bag "hooks". There are two easy cut out handles in the inner can that makes sliding it out a breeze.     Low tech garbage can

    Ok. I went for the foot pedal and not the battery driven garbage can. I am really glad I did. It works great. We had an 'open' garbage can before this and I am thrilled it's all enclosed now. I did go for the stainless steel and don't regret that either. I am used to wiping down our stainless steel kitchen appliances, so adding the garbage can isn't a big deal to me. We've been using it for several weeks, so far so good. I still think the manual foot pedal will end up being better than a battery driven one. Time will tell! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should n

    Have owned this trash can for many years now and it’s still great quality and has held up with no damage for 2 moves now. Also, now that we have a toddler it’s been especially great because she can’t open it and play in the trash. Loveeee this trash can and already had a friend buy one for her own home. Holds a full trash load and easy to clean. Hasn’t rusted in its years of use either. Great value for money.

    Damaged Products & Customer Service Will Not Provide Refund

    If I could leave 0 stars, I would.I initially received a damaged trash can and immediately contacted the seller and initiated a return. I then ordered a replacement, only for the second trash can to arrive damaged as well. At that point, we decided to just keep the second one because dealing with another return felt like more trouble than it was worth.Weeks went by and I still had not received my refund for the first trash can, so I reached out to SONGMICS customer service. Instead of helping resolve the issue, I was told they had no evidence that the item had been returned and would not issue
