EKO Hudson Matte Stainless 75 Liter/20 Gallon Step Trash Can with Rear Trash Bag Storage Compartment

I ordered this because my other can died (it had a self-opening and closing lid). I love the fact that it was a little larger, 21 gallons instead of 13, than the standard. Despite the larger size it does not seem to take up any more room than the smaller one I had. The stainless finish is beautiful. Its durable and functional. The lid closer is stout enough to keep my pitbull out (that is worth the money alone). Bag removal is simple. The can does not have a "lip" at the top like the last one. When the can got full the "lip" would hang up the bag and make removal a pain. This can is a breeze.

This is an awesome garbage pail. First, it’s big and doesn’t need to be emptied as often and I don’t have to break everything down tiny to fit in it. Second, it’s not round, or wide, and it fits in way more locations. I actually have it on the side of my sink, which is on the island. Also, it really IS fingerprint smudge proof, not just a hype. Bought this a while back. It was a great purchase. I am tall, so appreciate the height. No bending and no capability of the dog getting into the trash. Lol Looks good in my kitchen. The tan bottom goes with my tile. Easy two way entry by step pedal or raising the rim. No batteries to purchase. I have been very happy with the quality and didn’t need to use bigger bags although I can if desired. Smells are handled also.

This trash has been good to me. I didnt want one of those built in trash bins that set up inside of a cabinet because they fill up too quickly and its annoying, got that issue upstairs. So for the basement kitchen I wanted something a bit more practical but not detract from the space. Aesthetically looks nice, it shipped in a nice protective box to prevent dents. It holds much more than the trash bin in the main kitchen, im not frequently having to empty and it holds enough till its time to unload on trash day. Bag setup and removal is very easy and the lid has a slow close feature. Price migh

I have had this about a year. It’s a nice can. I replaced a battery powered can because it ate a lot of batteries. The foot pedal works well and the soft close is a nice feature. I use standard 30 gallon bags in it and I love the extra capacity. Only issue I had is the first time I went to clean it the logo wiped off the top which was a little disappointing. Overall solid can.

Just received my new trash can. So far, it works perfectly! I do with the foot petal was a little bigger but overall it is great. The look of it is sleek and clean. The lid going up flat is a plus and it closes nice and smooth with no sound at all.

Pros:1. This is a Large capacity garbage can that minimizes frequent trips to the garage cans. It is lighter weight than I expected.2. The matte surface minimizes finger prints and is easy to clean than stainless steel.3. Matte gray color is slightly different color and sheen than my stainless steel appliances but I feel it matches relatively well.4. Has liners made for this can which we are using that fits well with minimal overhang. We heavily load the garbage can and they are strong and durable with no breakage so far.5.
