After seeing great reviews on Facebook and top ratings on Amazon, I decided to purchase it. In hindsight, I should have paid more attention to the most recent reviews, because my experience has been very similar.The first time I used it, I followed the included recipe for peas (just water and peas), but the result was extremely watery. I’ve been using this for my 6-month-old to make homemade baby food, and overall I’ve been really happy with it. I am OBSESSED with this baby food maker! We didn't want to purchase store bought baby food and decided to make our own foods instead. The Bear NutriEase is amazing - the quality is really good, the food is steamed and blended perfectly. The overall look of it is small and compact and not an eyesore when on the counter. So far it seems to be durable and can handle whatever we've put in it. I cannot recommend this food maker enough. I like knowing that I am able to create high quality foods for my baby with things that we grow in our garden!

Tricky to use, not sure how much water to put in the inside while food is being cooked because it’s different for each one and there really is no guideline
