It solved a most annoying issue.
I have everything tied into my AV system, AppleTV, blu-ray player, PlayStation, laserdisc player, and yes, even my desktop computer. Most everything works fine without any hiccups except one major annoyance. If I bump, breathe on, or even slightly warm my trackpad with my body heat, the CEC will switch everything over to the computer and I have to wait a full minute before switching back to what ever I was watching/playing. I can’t toggle off CEC on the computer, I can turn it off on the receiver but that means I’m back to using four different remotes.That’s where this sturdy little adapter co

Customer support does not work as stated.
I purchased this adapter to attempt to resolve a connection problem between an OREI multiviewer and the HDMI4 port on my OneConnect box for my Samsung TV. It did not work. My issue with BlueRigger is that they offer a support option to schedule 30 minutes by phone. I did so and blocked out the designated time on my calendar. They did not contact me at that time nor did they respond to my follow-up email regarding the no-show by their support.

Works but adds a new problem
Works Good except every time the PC starts up the Speaker ICON on the Bottom Right of Windows has an X over it and there is no Sound. I have to open up device manager and scan for hardware changes and this removes the X over the Speaker Icon. Searching for drivers doesn't work. I have to Scan for Hardware changes every time I restart or turn off the PC and turn in back on. It fixed the Issue with the TV sound issues but created this issue as well..
