Well...very easy to put together.I had to buy the griddle,stove and bbq box separately but it was pretty close to the price of the tailgaiter model so don't wait ...2 days delivery all 3..Griddle is kinda seasoned I didn't do much but spray it down after sitting in the sun with some some.pam..Wipe it down good a few times it'll be alright ....it's cast iron not rocket science...burners take some getting used to they go.out if your not watching...that's not unusual....I basically took this out of the box and 15 minutes later I was making bacon,brats and a baked potato...baked beans in the bbq b

I used this for canning outside! Burners are powerful and heat up large amounts of water fast! Not just for camping anymore! Easy to put together and take apart!

This is such a nice little unit. I used it to make maple syrup this year. Will probably go to fire heated stove next year, but I couldn’t ask for a better starter set up. It works amazingly. Easy to use. Easy to connect. Good flame control. Easy light. Well made and versatile. It’s easy to transport, but sturdy & well made. I will get even more use out of this this coming summer camping or cooking outside. It’s so versitile . It was an excellent purchase.

We're now rounding the corner to year 7 and it's ready for replacement. The major flaw with this quite simply is rust... regardless of how well you care for the product (sand+repaint+seal, covering etc) it will degrade over time. This is something Campchef clearly has recognized, as they make a complete stainless steel version of this Explorer being sold at a 2x markup only on their website. Even being a solid hour from the salt water the difference between my Explorer and a family members purchase in West Texas around the same time are glaringly obvious. Excellent cooking tool. I live in a very hot part of the country, I like to use this as an outdoor cooking station so that my stove isn’t competing with my air conditioner. It’s built well, the legs are adjustable to accommodate uneven ground, and works like a charm. The wind shield do a good job, haven’t had the wind extinguished it yet. It puts off a LOT of heat on a large burner, so use a large pot or pan, otherwise you’ll find your hands too exposed to the heat when stirring etc.

I'm happy to report that I've now found the perfect setup for my RV. I bought this in combination with adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W55FQDL and hose https://a.co/d/0aJBqkMU to work with the integrated system on my travel trailer.This connects to the camper's gas line, so I can run off the 2 propane tanks on the front of the camper rather than using a camp stove and 1-lb propane tanks.
