I purchased this 15,000 BTU model to use for wok cooking as well as for high-heat searing the surface of sous vide steaks. It functions extremely well for both of those tasks, quickly heating pans to the "screaming hot" temperatures required for certain types of specialized cooking. It's also quite easy to use. I am overall pleased so far. It lights easily, is adjusts smoothly from a simmer to a strong flame and and seems well-enough constructed to last if not banged about. Wind protection is OK but you'll want an additional windshield for exposed outdoor use. I deducted a star because the plastic case it comes with (which protects the product when transported) is poor design and flimsy plastic too thin to last - cheapens the whole experience. Works very well. I purchased this as an auxiliary for my bigger fry pans when my stovetop was full. This has plenty of heat and boils faster than my stovetop top when it’s on medium high. No complaints.

Great little cook eye

First I was disappointed this one-burner did not hook up to the classic dark-green butane bottle available everywhere but then I was hugely relieved, since now I can stash the stove easily and safely in a closet until I need to use it.The butane cannisters are also readily available and last longer than I'd expected. Walmart has a pack of three for thirteen dollars.The stove is very light and should be placed on a solid even surface, out of wind or drafts.I am living in a bare-bones vintage trailer and this little stove is ideal for heating water for morning coffee or filling my hot water bott

Specs are great but actual product does not leave a great expectation. First off the box, gas canister cover came loose and a screw dropped off. Unable to tighten the screw as the aluminum frame is out of alignment. Plastic chips and bits are in the box and the stove. At least the product is working when tested. Definitely does not feel like a premium product.
