CIOKS DC7 Power Supply

I wanted a smaller, more powerful power supply with more options and no noise for my pedalboard. This Cioks power supply fits that description perfectly. Loads of power with variable power options. Came with all the cords needed to get everything hooked up and powered on. Rock solid power and very versatile

I am very happy with this pedalboard power supply. I combined it with a Cioks DC-4, for a total of 11 individually powered pedals. First: it is quiet! I've tried cheaper power supplies, but those never worked for me. This one is expensive, but worth every penny. Comes with every cable you could need and then some. A good selection of short, medium and long cable lengths makes keeping things tidy below the board easy. I just used the standard "Boss-style" center negative cables, but they also include specialty cables for your positive polarity pedals (Line-6, Eventide, etc.). Very pleased. You

KNOW THIS: This unit has jacks for *RCA phono plugs*, not 2.1mm barrel-style plugs like other power supplies such as Voodoo Labs. This is important if you already have a variety of barrel plugs to work with your stuff, including current doublers and voltage doublers and 2.5mm plugs: you can't use them with this. It's not immediately evident or called out that I can see. I originally was using a Donner power supply, but one day my BOSS pedal that was plugged into it. Stopped working? I couldn’t figure out what happened? I tried to fix the pedal, but no matter what I did, it just wouldn’t work anymore. After doing research. I found out the Donner power supply does not offer isolated power. I picked this up to power a bunch of synths and FX for a portable synth rig. Easily powers a wide array of devices, and I was even able to power a few low-power USB devices from the USB port (via hub). Only downside is that I had to special order a couple cables because the included cables were right angle and I didn't have enough clearance to use them for two of the devices that I've got. While this is a bummer, I wouldn't knock them for it, as I'm sure I'm a little outside the typical use case here.
