Heavy duty, metal construction. Really is what it claims to be.I used velcro to tie it down to my work bench rather than the provided screws and slots, but that's a matter of personal preference.
Great product works for my needs
I purchased this HHSOET Metal 8 Outlet Power Strip specifically to help with cable management for my home desk setup, which consists of an IKEA wooden tabletop with separate legs. Attaching the power strip to the underside of the desk was incredibly easy. Instead of using the provided screws, I opted for 3M Dual Lock tape, which has held the strip securely in place for the past four months without any signs of loosening. This was a great no-permanent-holes solution for my desk.The build quality of this power strip is impressive. The powder-coated black metal casing feels very sturdy and robust
This is NOT the ordinary cheapo power strip you’re used to❗️It is HEAVY to pick up and extremely well made. I was pleasantly surprised by what I got. 8 outlets, spaced far enough that “wall warts” easily plug in. Definitely priced for me to buy more.

I made the mistake of thinking this was rack mountable, it is not wide enough for a standard 19” rack.Now to be fair, they never said it was rack mountable, I just assumed that it was when I saw that it’s wide and has mounting ears on the ends. But those mounting ears are for screwing it to a wall or a desk.I’m giving 5 stars because the product itself does actually work great, and the product description is accurate.
