Coleman Bottletop Propane Stove, 7,650 BTU Camping Cooker

Worked like it said, but better and sturdier than I expected. And so easy to pack and store. Definitely worth having for a quick camping/fishing trip, or just in the back yard. Cast iron skillet was perfectly balanced on the burner, no worries.

Almost perfect. The quality is WAY better than the generic knock-offs, it's got a good weight, good strength, a nice compact unit. Where it falls short is the valve. It isn't a smooth operation, like a water faucet, it's a ratcheted "click click click" with pre-set levels of flame. The problem is that the lowest 4 settings don't work, and the "optimal" setting, is elusive. It either runs a little too hot, or the next click down which is a little too cool. You can't get it "where you want it" because of the pre-set notches. I want to love this unit but it just misses the mark.

Very stable burner would definitely recommend. I use it year round ice fishing,camping, power outages. Takes up very little space.

This is a really great, and very well made item. It is also very convenient and easty to use. You just screw the top on and plump the cylinder into the base. It uses the short, fat cylinders--not the longer kind you usually see plumbers using with torches.I had one of these things but I cannot locate the thing anywhere so when Hurricane Irma headed towards Florida I hurried and ordered another one. Thankfully, the hurricane did not hit the part of Florida I live in, the panhandle.My old stove got me and my late father through the hell that was Hurrican Ivan which did hit here in September of 2

Just opened the box today, the stove unit is a lot bigger than I expected. Not to worried about this because my main purpose for this stove is multi day kayak trips. I'm impressed by the construction, the stove part is all metal besides the flow knob which is plastic. The base is also plastic which is very solid, overall the construction is great for what you pay for.Did a very quick operational test and loved it! The propane flow knob is extremely easy to operate, while you turn the knob it clicks to different adjustments for the flame (Low to High). This made it simple to lite the stove and
