The Fire Cable works with my “Amazon Fire TV 4K streaming device (newest model)” and Samsung 55-inch Class OLED 4K S90D TV. At first it did NOT work until I utilized the correct USB port.When I first set up the Fire Cable with the Fire TV stick it did NOT work and I received the message that others received that there was not enough power to the Fire TV stick and I need to utilize the included wall cord and plug. “Insufficient USB power detected. This is a MUST HAVE, if you use the FIRE stick. The reason why? Because its less cords to have to plug into the wall!!! I love that. I bought another one for home and one for my TV in my RV. It's a must. Its not even alot of money, do it today!

I have 2 TV's using a FireStick. I had one that this cable would not work. It is an older TV and it told me there was not enough power coming from the USB port to support the FireStick.On my other TV it works however, each time I turn on the TV the firestick has to boot. It doesn't take more than about 45 seconds but it is a change versus AC power. For those that are plugged in, as soon as you turn on the TV they work. With this device, it must start over. Not a deal breaker just something you should know. This delay is the reason for the 4 stars. If not for that, I'd certainly give it a 5.

Super clutch, does exactly what it describes

Because the wall mount I have sits very close to the wall outlet, the power brick for the FireStick couldn't be plugged in behind the TV. I thought this USB cable would solve that problem. FireStick recommends NOT using the TV USB ports for power, but based on what they advertise I figured I'd give this cable a try anyway. THIS CABLE ACTUALLY WORKS!!! Hey everyone, I purchased this without reading the reviews. Like some stated, I received the message “sufficient power”. I came back to read the reviews and found out you must charge the Firestick before using the cable. Great product when you don't want cords to show behind TV.

I use my firestick remote to turn on the TV and firestick simultaneously. Since I've installed the fireCable, the TV comes on, followed a few moments later by the firestick startup, as though it's been rebooted. This startup each time is annoying, but it does work, and there's only the TV cord to plug in, since the power cord for the firestickplugs into an USB port on the back of the TV. I have multiple TVs, but probably won't buy another fireCable.
