And that is actually a good thing as you will goto fractals .com and use the web hub to tune the headphones to your liking with a eq. Yes, it is done online and saves to the device, I believe that you can store 3 sound profiles onboard. Sound can take a while to dial in to your liking, but once you do these things shine. Like others have said, the detachable boom has intermittent connection issues. Reseating the boom will 9/10 times fix it, but the fact I have to stop, take the headset off, reseat the boom, then put the headset back on is a major headache, and I simply can not comprehend why the boom is removable in the first place. Its a gaming headset with rgb, and without the boom it has this massive hole on the left ear that looks horrible, if you're just trying to use this as a bluetooth headphone. Bass is a slightly lackluster but still sounds great. You get 3 EQs that are easy to pan through and allow you to pick the bass up a bit. The first couple months of ownership I would have easily given 5 stars. Good sound quality, great features, awesome base, great range, mic isn't too bad either. Then after a couple months the adhesive they used for the fabric in the headband came undone and is falling off. I thought this was just bad luck on my part. A month later and the adhesive holding the fabric of the earcup started coming off. They used so little adhesive and made everything in a way to not be easily replaceable. Basically consider these things disposable and for the price, I don't think that's acceptable.
