Garmin Instinct® E, Rugged GPS Smartwatch, 45mm, Charcoal

My first Garmin watch and I love it. Wish I had gotten the solar powered version just for convenience, but it holds a charge for a couple of weeks and only takes an hour or so to charge fully.I've only had it for about a month, but it seems very durable. It stores information regarding steps/heartrate locally, so you can go about your business without your phone and still be able to see your stats on your phone whenever you sync up with it.The GPS system is pretty accurate, and the pacing system works great for my runs. The fitness challenges in the app are pretty cool and definitely motivate

Bought as a gift, and recipient seems very happy with it. I've had an Instinct watch for several years. In my opinion, this is the right blend of watch functionality and smart watch features, along with sport and health tracking. Battery life is measured in weeks, so it's a watch that can actually be worn all the time. I only charge it on occasion.

Selected after researching many makes and models. After being an Apple Watch user for 12 years, just got tired of daily charging. Wanted to keep some basic smart watch functions, with quality sensors, good GPS, and rugged design. This Instinct E check all the boxes for me. Satisfied buyer after using for 3 weeks. Also the Garmin Connect app is very good and integrates the watch data as desired.

I love this watch. I dont like fancy things with stuff you wont use. The garmin instinct e allows you to set the watch up for how you want to use it. I did have a watch that was already used and sent back because when I went to set it up it was linked to another account. It was a minor inconvenience and I needed a watch so wasn't worried about sending it back for another one. Battery life is awsome. Love how you can keep track of your health with it. The only bad thing with this watch is the band. It's short, and I mean short. I dont have huge wrist and I have it almost at the end of the band.

Fantastic watch and a fair price with everything it will track. I have struggled wearing watches in the past but this one I genuinely enjoy wearing due to it being easy to wear and use. I have bought 3 other garmin products after getting this one as gifts for my wife and family members and they only say good things.

Great watch. Bought for my husband for Christmas 2025 and he hasn’t taken it off. (This review written August 2026) He loves the fact it links up to his Dexcom. Durable and not too busy.

This is my first Garmin watch. Decent watch with good features, but the band is so laughably small that I went back to ensure I didn’t buy a child's watch. My wrists are honestly small for a guy and I barely can wear this watch.

The watch is an awesome watch to have if you are a very active, outdoorsy person. Very accurate in every feature like the GPS maps, bluetooth capabilities etc. I could not find much use for it because it’s more for outdoor active people.
