    I do a or of BBQ ad go through a LOT of burgers I also get a whole beef cow every year so ale known patties. This thing works great - love being able to make multiple sizes depending on what I am doing. It is one patty at a time, but works great.

    This burger press ensures uniform size and shape of patties - only it doesn't

    If I had to do it again, I would not by this burger press. So far I've used the 4" and 5" plates. One side of the burger is thinner than the other side. When I say thinner, I mean one side of the patty is 3/8" and the other side tapers to just over 1/16".I bought it so I can make breakfast sausage patties. Who wants to eat a breakfast sausage that you have to set one side at 1/2" just so the other side won't burn.I suppose if you are making 1 inch patties, you probably wouldn't notice.
