Unacceptable sound quality from the soundbar, it biased higher frequencies and couldn’t be offset by the tone control on the remote. Similarly, the subwoofer produced minimal sound even with the bass adjusted to its highest setting. The device sounded like a cheap AM radio from the 1970’s.I made multiple efforts to improve the sound: rebooting, checking settings on my TV, tried other HDMI cables, tried ARC vs. eARC, tried different sound content, etc.What finally did help the sound was putting it back in the box and re-installing my old Samsung 3.1 soundbar system. I've had a lot of home theater sound systems, and none were ever quite right ... or they just died with one or more speakers no longer producing any sound. My most recent sound system was an ONN setup, and it too started having problems. So, I had recently gotten a Hisense 85-inch TV and it is awesome. It eliminated the need for Roku, too. But I needed a new sound system. I did my homework and decided to go with a Hisense Home Theater System with remote speakers. As I took things out of the box my first thought was that it can't be this simple to set up ... but, hey, it definitely was so easy

We've had this set up for some time now, almost a year I believe. For the most part, we have been very happy with it. Easy to set up and use. The sound is excellent and the small speakers can really add to the experience of watching a movie depending on where you place them in the room. The cords are very long so you have some freedom to get creative with speaker placement. The only downside is lately, we've had issues with the speakers cutting in and out making a slight crackling noise. We think that there is an interference causing this from other nearby electronics like our internet router,

Worked okay until less than 18 months of using it and it just stopped working completely. Disappointing

This is so worth it for the money. The sound is amazing. The comments we got last night were " You can feel it and hear it, it sounds like we're in a movie theater" it really is nice for the money. I bought extra hardware thinking I needed it to hang the rear speakers and the soundbar and what came with it was perfect I didn't need anything extra. I love my Hisense TVs, so I purchased a Hisense soundbar expecting good things. This soundbar keeps automatically maxing out the volume for no reason. I have to fight with it to get the volume under control and can’t. The only way to lower the volume when it does this is to factory reset the sound bar, unplug it and the TV from power, wait 3 minutes and turn it all on. It happens about once every 2 weeks now. Until I figured out how to stop it, it happened every day. I haven’t requested a return yet because I’m hoping a firmware update will be pushed that will permanently fix the problem.

For the money this thing sounds like a Soundbar kit 4x its price. This thing has great sound dynamics; the subwoofer is deep and accurate, and esthetics wise it looks clean and modern. I couldn't be happier with it. The instructions and set up were very easy to use and as far as connectivity I have a Hisense TV, and it was seamless and easy to use the ARC
