    I recently got an old Kenmore 385 which came with the vintage style hard case. The latches were NOT trustworthy and I wanted to keep some basic sewing stuff with the machine.I picked this one, because gray is pretty utilitarian, it seemed to have a good amount of storage and it was the lowest priced option that met my criteria.It’s been great. It’s sturdy, it’s so much easier to carry than the old hard case, and I’ve got 30 spools of thread, 7 bobbins, a few packs of needles & my good sewing scissors in it.     Gray Brother XL5700This is a good sewing machine case. The color is nice, the case is sturdy, the interior pockets seam to be well made. I have a Brother XL5700 machine and it fit nicely with room for the presser foot in the main compartment. The front pocket unzips around 3 sides and opens out to lay flat nicely giving room to easily access all items stored in the 5 different compartments within the front pocket. The top of the main compartment also unzips around 3 sides allowing the top open completely so your machine can easily be inserted or removed.Reason for 4 stars - the top of the main
