This compact amp is surprisingly small and easy to hook up. I had a lot of trouble getting it to work but that was mainly due to my incompetence in trying to set it up with my new OLED smart TV. The remote and the selections on the TV were confusing as hell and I spent a lot of time trying for the set-up I wanted. The movie setting on the amp delivers a terrific sound during any action telecast. I was delighted at the audio while watching Deadliest Catch. It almost had the feel of a surround sound setup even I use just two Polk floor speakers, a 2.0 setup.

A couple of the reviews are critical of the specs, taking them to task, and if that's what your main interest is, good for you.For me, though, I wanted a simple amp that would take the 2-channel stereo sound from my new Amazon Fire TV Series 4, via the HDMI-ARC, and output it to my mid-90s era Klipsch KG 1.5 2-way bookshelf speakers with 50W RMS/200W peak power rating.As far as I'm concerned, I've struck gold. The sound is excellent. The volume is adequate. The controls are simple. It's compact and nice-looking.These attributes are more important than ratings on the id plate.I've had it set up

This is the best little amp I've ever purchased.There are 3 DSP options music/news/movie, and the audio quality does not disappoint.This paired with a set of Micca speakers is great for small spaces.No issues with the bluetooth other than when I forgot the device on my phone and attempted to pair again, I have to fumble through a series of actions to get it to reconnect.Neither the power brick nor the amp has gotten hot yet, but have not used the max volume usually sticking between vol setting 8 to 12.Remote is a good shape and buttons are easy to manipulate with a good tactile sensation.Only

Worked ok with ARC, optical and RCA connections. Remote is helpful. Sound quality not great during quieter passages. Very compact. Sould is not as good as traditional receiver.

It worked great on my smart TV. It also turns off with the TV remote using a FireStick. Great sound and all the inputs a guy would need.

I bought this to use the HDMI Arc with my TV, but before I did that I thought I'd install it in my 2 ch system to see how it sounded on the big speakers. First I noticed that when I switched to the analog inputs there was a bit of hiss which I've never had a problem with. Then I switched to the coax input to use my streamer to listen to some music. At low volume I could already tell that the music was very distorted and something was wrong. This didn't make it past the first 5 minute test.....When you buy cheap Chi-fi like this you roll the dice. I'm sending it back and I'll try something else

Everything works great, setup was easy, I'm happy with this purchase. My old power amp was dying, and I needed to replace it. I found this for less than it would have cost to get my old amp put on the bench, let alone fixed. It does what I need it to with no fuss. The Bluetooth is easy and reliable, which is a feat for these inexpensive BT items. The only gripe I have is that the little blue indicator lights for the mode selections are very dim, to where I can't tell what mode I'm in.
