To pair the voice remote to your TV, turn it on first then press and hold the 'Home' button for at least 10 seconds to enter pairing mode. The remote control indicator will flash rapidly. A message will appear on the screen indicating that your remote is successfully paired.

Backlit buttons are motion-activated and light up when the remote is picked up in dark environment. It has multiple function buttons to get things done smoothly, including 4 preset App buttons, 2 customizable buttons and a headphone button. With the remote finder function, you can ask voice assistant to find the remote.

The remote will emit an audible ring. Then you'll find it easily. You can also use the TV app on a cell phone to manually trigger the ring.

    Spend the extra money and buy the original from Amazon

    This thing is not even close in terms of quality to the original Alexa Pro remote. My dog keeps chewing them up, but this remote is so bad that I'd rather spend the extra money and get the Amazon one at a higher cost. The buttons are finicky and don't always register a press the first time. Otherwise it works well enough, but it's so annoying that I would never buy one again. I'm kind of excited for my dog to chew this one up so I can buy a real Alexa pro remote again

    Great Replacement Remote — The Backlit Buttons and Finder Feature Are Worth It!

    I picked up this remote because our remotes have a habit of disappearing around the house, usually somewhere between the couch cushions, and I wanted something that felt like an upgrade instead of just buying another basic replacement. So far, I've been really happy with this one.One of my favorite features is definitely the backlighting. I didn't realize how useful illuminated buttons would be until I started using the remote at night. We watch a lot of TV with the room lights dimmed or completely off, and being able to actually see the buttons instead of guessing which one I'm pressing makes

    Works, can't get it to pair to use the voice function

    This remote was purchased as a replacement for an Insignia Fire TV. It halfway works, as the function buttons work, but we can not get it to pair so we are unable to use the voice search or find my remote feature.The remote comes with two sets of instructions for set up, and they both are slightly different as far as set up. It does include different setup instructions for TVs vs Firestick.The function buttons on the remote all worked right out of the box, except for the voice search and find my remote features. These two features are why you need to pair the remote with your device. Unfortuna

    Easy Replacement That Works Right Out of the Box

    This remote worked right out of the box with my Insignia TV. After installing two AAA batteries (not included), it was ready to use without any setup. It is slightly smaller than the original remote but still has all the functions I need. Overall, a good replacement remote that works as expected.
