Thanks to this tire clamp we still have a golf cart. After our first (unsecured) cart was stolen we wanted a sturdy clamp for replacement cart and not disappointed. The sheer bulk of it deters attempt at using bolt cutters. Would-be thief tried to pick the lock and failed. Unfortunately they destroyed the locking mechanism so key didn’t work and had to hire someone to remove clamp. We’re so happy with the peace of mind this clamp gave us we bought a replacement. I bought a similar but shorter width product previously and barely grasped around the tire rim. I forgot about it and ran over it which broke. This new one actually embraces the tire rim securely like a man to woman instead of friend zoning the tire. Unless the thief has a key to it, he will not get in versus the other product. I felt if he deflated the tire, he probably would have been able to rip the device of with other products off. This is a deterrent, no such thing as absolute but this does a it’s job. Now I need another one to replace the other.

This definitely does the job. My only complaint is that the keys are extremely weak. I have accidently broken off three keys in the lock and had to replace the unit. If you are aware of just 3 things, this unit is otherwise worthy of a 5 star rating. 1) the key is only needed to unlock the devise. Once it is unlocked, remove the key. Every time I have broken a key off it was because I had left it in the lock while jostling the unit around. 2) lining up the locking pin with the locking hole can be a little frustrating getting the adjustment just right. I solved this by taking some painters tape

Very nice security option. Only thing to know is the lock is a bit tricky to operate until you figure it out. Zero instructions on operation, what is the best position for max security. Out in front of a tire or behind a tire? They tell you nothing.

So far so good! Fits my truck well. I can update water proofing after today, because there is a storm as we speak!!! But fits my truck with 20x11” wheels with 35” tires! Strong, durable, easy to put on and take off. Hope i never have to know about the security feature. But another layer of protection with this economy.

It came broken. The lock was stuck. I had to bang on it with a hammer to get it lose. Then once I put the key in again it got stuck and the key broke off. It makes a good trash recepticle weight though.

Ship faster than estimated. The lock is solid & strong, fits my Ram TRX 12inch tire. Highly recommend.
