LARKSOUND 32 Inch 2.2 Detachable Soundbar, Surround Sound System for TV

I’ve been looking for a decent speaker for my small 22” kitchen TV that is primarily used with an Apple TV and up until now, Bluetooth speakers. I’ve tried all the connections this soundbar has to offer, except HDMI ARC since my old TV doesn’t have that capability. I set this up in my girlfriend's bedroom because the $10 speakers we were using made it difficult to hear and understand movies. I used the included optical cable to connect the PC we use for Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc. No batteries for remote so we just used the side buttons and then we control volume from the PC. Setup was simple, size was great. Seemed like a good, solid weight, soundbar. It was sitting on a stand with the TV on the wall, so it was stable. 4 days into use it developed a hum, so it is being returned. My setup was simple - I needed a soundbar that worked with either RCA or Aux (3.5mm) input. We set the volume on the bar and use the TV audio to adjust the volume. Alot of sound for small places

I'm giving this one star because I'm unable to use it for one of its intended purposes; a television. I originally bought this sound bar for a small TV (it's important to note that the TV is only 1yr old and has the capabilities to work with a sound bar) I have in the kitchen, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. When first turning the TV on, the sound bar interferes with the TV input, changes the input, and often requires multiple attempts to get the correct input to work. Bought this mini sound bar to go with our projector for our living room. It’s the perfect size to mount directly under the projector and has great sound quality if your looking for something that just boost the sound not for someone looking for movie theater surround sound. Only issue I have is how difficult it is to turn the volume up or down as you have to hold down the volume button and don’t know if it’s actually doing anything until you hear it other than that we are happy with our purchase and does what it’s made to do.

So, let me say that when I say sound quality, I am talking about it's ability to produce sound when I want it to. The actual sound it produces is fine, but the design of when it will and will not produce that sound is the big problem.
